Lisa Harrison needs your prayers. She is usually a rock but she has started to crumble. Due to circumstances beyond her control she is not able to even get out of bed. Lack of work for their family for 9 months and her mother's breast cancer advanced to the spine and bone. Now Baby Isabell has lost down to 15 pound 10 oz. She only has a cold but due to her Downs the doctors say her body fights off viruses by using her body fat. She will be 18 months old the 4 of Feb and she keeps losing weight. Please pray for health, peace & comfort.

Due to some difficulties Sarah Williams has from her cerebral palsy, she will be having a procedure tomorrow to help loosen the muscles in her legs that are so tight. We would like to pray that this will help her enough to avoid a future surgical procedure.

Please pray for a fifth grade boy that attends Hamilton Crossing Elementary. He was just diagnosed a couple of days before Christmas with a type of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma called Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. He has been battling swollen lymph nodes on the left side of his neck with no explanation despite multiple tests for 2 years. He got his first round of December 31st. He is currently in the hospital, but may be home soon until his next round of chemo. Pray that God gives him and his family the strength to get through this time and face whatever is in God's plan for them.

Mom is in catastrophic care and the name is Complex Care. The only thing that is even being done is they are trying to get her breathing better. She has improved so much since we are all here. She is working on getting around but she is not allowed to put any weight on her bad leg for an unknown period of time. They are not dealing with the cancer at all. Lisa Harrison just let me know that her Mom's breast cancer has spread to her bones. The hip they replaced has cancer and also a fractured spine also shows cancer. This was from a friend of mine. I do not know of this family personally, but I do know this is a prayer request that I have been asked to pass along.

There's a 16 year old boy named Cade Walker on that has just found out he has a tumor on his brain. They literally just found out like 4 days ago. They did some kind of test on him yesterday and have found that it's really bad. So bad that they are going to have to do some really aggressive chemo to try to shrink it. Could you please have your church pray for him??

Tristan's update

I never really updated Tristan's progress.

Tristan went today to have his stitches removed and a new cast put on. He goes back on Jan 11 to have an x-ray and decide if he needs a cast longer than that. His surgery went very well and we had a few minor complications with nausea and swelling for a few days but after that things went well. Thank you for all the prayers and concern.

Please remember Ma"ria" York. She was in Maryland on Friday visiting her family and was involved in a car accident. She suffered 5 broken ribs and a punctured lung. Due to the horrible weather, her family has not been able to fly up to see her. She was released out of ICU this morning, but is expected to be in the hospital for a while. We have prayed many times over the past for Arnold Baker. He has had throat cancer and was in remission and it came back with a vengeance. He recently had his voice box removed and complications after complications have continued to follow him. He is now hospitalized with a blood infection. Please remember Arnold and his family.

A friend of mine, Bre Steadman, asks for prayer for healing for a 3 year old student in her class, Reese Martin, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuro-blastoma.Reese's mother is also pregnant with her second child.Thank you for your prayers of healing for these young children.

Tristan Crosley has had a rough time the last few months. He fell off a skateboard and broke his right arm. Things went very well until a week before the cast was due to come off and he tripped over the couch and re-broke the same arm.
He had an x-ray today to check the bone alignments. They were not good. He has to have surgery Friday Dec. 3 at 8:00 am in order to place a rod in one of the bones. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and keep his surgeon, Dr. Crawley, in your prayers too. He was kind enough to delay the surgery so that Tristan could participate in the parade on Thursday before his surgery.
Our family is trying to stay in high spirits about all this, but it seems that every time there is a light at the end of the tunnel, the tunnel gets longer. I know there are lessons for Tristan in all this. At the same time, I am trying to be humble enough to see the lesson God has for me as well.

A friend of Deska Brown's.....her friend's dad, Malcolm, is in the hospital (rushed via ambulance) after only being home 10 days from his 5wk stay due to complications and blood clots after his knee replacement surgery. I'm not sure what's wrong this time, but I know he's 77 and his family is really concerned about him. I told them I'd put him on the prayer chain! So ~ please pray! Hospitals aren't fun, especially not during the holidays!

Please also pray for Arnold Baker. We have prayed for him many times over the past two years. His throat cancer came back and he had more surgeries and is not doing well after the last surgery which was several months ago. Just seems to continue to go down.

Norm Ellsworth is still in intensive care after his bypass surgery a week ago. Please continue to pray.

Isabell is still a very sick little girl. Her fever continued to spike through the night and they are leaving the Dr's office now to head to Scottish Rite. She is down to 15 lbs and is just so sick.

She cannot be admitted directly and will have to go thru ER. The process could take a while.

This is Lisa Harrison and I am asking for your prayers to include our granddaughter Isabell Rose. She has had the croup for 3 weeks now and we thought she was starting to improve. She had lost one pound so she weighs less at 15 months the she did on her first birthday. She is only 16 pounds. She did not seem right on Tue so I cancelled her appointment for her shots and made a recheck appointment for this morning at 9. My Daughter Danielle woke at 2 A.M. and we rushed her to the ER her temp was 105 and white blood count was high also. Her chest ex-ray shows phenomena. Please continue to pray for Deska Brown. She is in her fourth cast for her injury sustained a couple of weeks ago. She will get this one off two days before Thanksgiving. Now there's something to be thankful for.

Her heart surgery is now scheduled as well. It will be Nov 10 at St Joseph's. Since she will have a walking cast on they can proceed with that surgery. This is a very trying time for Deska, so please remember her in your prayers and I will update as we get closer to the surgery.

I thought everyone would like to know that Craig, the young man who had the severe leg wound will not lose his leg. The skin graft took and now he has a long road of healing and PT. Sadly, he will not be able to work as a fireman and is quite depressed and concerned for his future so this still remains a difficult time for him and his wife and kids.Walter, the man who works for Russ, is off the ventilator and out of ICU. He too will need a good amount of time before he's back to work, but thankfully he is still around to think about it.I thank all of you for your prayers and I thank the Lord for their slow but sure recovery.

A note from Kathy Williams ( George Williams wife) We have been praying for George for a while now and it is time for some new results. To remind you who this is.......this is John Williams' Dad and Zach's uncle. Please help our family in prayer.

We have an appointment with the Oncologist to go over the results from George’s recent Brain MRI and Chest CT Scans. I truly believe that if you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes so we are hoping and praying that the full radiation of his brain has worked and that the Chest scans have not changed. This would truly be a miracle! I cannot help but to research and read about this dreaded, aggressive disease and see the published statistics and it makes my heart drop past my knees. Please pray for my friend Misty she is in the hospital and she has a 2 week old newborn. The family just called for Ryan to come in and pray over Misty (they are unchurched and don't have a pastor& they think of Ryan as their pastor. Ryan just left the Bridge to go to the hospital, please pray for Ryan to help bring some peace). Misty has a bacterial infection in a valve in her heart and also pnumonia and staff infection she just got a port put in to have antiobiotics pumped in her for the next six weeks and if that doesn't work she will have to have a valve in her heart replaced. Please keep her in your prayers. This is not how this new, first time mom thought it would be, she has ran a fever ever since the baby was born.

Bless her heart. The surgery works in that they remove what they think is enough to get the cancer and test that and she waits 2 hours for the results. If they did not get it all, they go back in again.

They have done this procedure 3 times all ready today since 8 am and she continues to hear that they did not get it all. She is now waiting to hear about the results from this third one. She should hear again around 4 pm.

Tim Marshall writes: The Dermatologist office called her today with more bad news. They did not get all of the melanoma. We went and saw a surgeon today. She is scheduled to have surgery on Monday for the Melanoma. She is also scheduled for surgery on Thursday for her endometrial cancer. We are just asking for prayers through these challenging time.

We all need to pray God holds Jess, Tim and family close and that a healing will ensue.

Dear Bridge Prayer Warriors,Please pray for Ben Sparks, he is a freshman at Kennesaw Mtn. High & he is in a comma at Scottish Rite. He was playing baseball at his high school last night & was hit in the back of the head with a baseball. He immediately went into seizures and was taken by ambulance to Kennestone Hospital. They lifeflighted him to Scottish Rite & did surgery to remove the blood on his brain. My sister, Audrey was at Scottish Rite with the family today (bc my sister's roommate & best friend is Claire & this is Claire's brother Ben). My sis said they don't know if he is going to pull out of this, or if he will be paralyzed, or if he will be just fine, but we have faith that God is going to heal Ben!Please also pray for the safety of Ryan & the other Bridge leaders who are flying to Kansas tomorrow for a conference.Thank you,AprilLuke 1:37: For with God, nothing is impossible

We have know since Isabell was born that there is a high risk of hearing loss. She was at the ENT 6 weeks ago and they found fluid in her ears. And put her on medicine. It did not remove the fluid due to her having such tiny canals. So to stop her from having any more hearing loss we decided to have tube put in as soon as they could get her in and that is next week. Were OK with this we just want you to lift her in your prayers. And the doctors also. she will have to have this surgery each time she out grows the tubes. So they were up front with us. This is to prevent any damage. She is doing great other then a little extra fluid. Thanks for caring Lisa

We were able to visit with David's mom for about an hour this evening. She is looking good, she is out of ICU and in a regular room. She is still having problems with nausea and therefore is feeling very weak and dehydrated. She is hoping to get to go home tomorrow.

David's dad is very tired and did not sleep well last evening worrying about her. He will go home this evening an attempt to get some rest.

She also has had a suspicious place removed and tested for skin cancer. It came back as melanoma. She is going thru so much all ready and had that surgery today.

I asked for prayer for a family friend battling cancer, Garrett Thornton. Please see my mother's report below and continue to pray for comfort for him and his family. Thank you.

The news is not good. They did the surgery yesterday and they went in and it had spread so they just sewed him back up. She said the portion of the small intestine that they took out to make the bladder was cancerous and it had spread to his abdomen also. She said after 2 hours of surgery they called them back and she knew then that it wasn't good since the surgery was suppose to take 6 hours. She said they are going to do chemo but not sure when or if it will be of any benefit. An oncology board of about 12 doctors is going to meet on Monday and look at his case and see what they think the treatment should be. Garrett asked the oncologist last night if he had a year and the doctor said probably not. Marilyn said she just "lost it" when the doctor told them that after surgery.

Just have to keep praying for strength for them.

My sister Audrey was friends with Kenny and cheered for him at South Cobb High & Audrey is very distraught too. Kenny played for the Denver Broncos. Please keep Phoenix is your prayers. He's having a reaction to the new infusion. He feels pretty bad. I reallyhope this gets better over the next few infusions, since doing SubQ will make it so much easier on us as a family. Please be in prayer for the entire situation. He has a fever; migraine, and stomach ache and all of the Infusion sites are red and tender. He's been having migraines a lot lately and we have to go see a neurologist soon to have them checked out. Please pray for the love of my life, Bruce. He has battled with depression for most of his life. He has progressed to stage 4 Depression. I know everyone has suffered in the last few years with our economy downfall, but he was a proud man with great credit and nice home and always provided for his family. Now neither of us have worked a day in four and half months. Last week I received a few e-mails from our family at The Bridge. Each of them told us that they were praying for us. The next day Bruce received his first signing for a job in months. I felt so blessed and he is so over whelmed. He is out of shape and let him self shut down for so long that he has no idea how to function. Please lift him up in your prayers. This has taken a toll on our whole family.
