Prayers for Jake

Please note this first prayer request was from 10 PM last night

This is reference to Eric and Jessica Lee's son, Jake.
Jake. he is in the ER after having blood in his urine & abdominal pain. he fell earlier today carrying a large rock & it landed on his midsection.

UPDATE
He came home last night and the diagnosis is a liver contusion (bad bruise). we are to watch him and if his symptoms persist, take him to Children's Healthcare.

Please pray for the Lees and also forgive me for posting after the fact!

Cindy Brown

Cindy Brown who was once a White School Nurse and was now in Home Health Care, lost her life yesterday in an accident on 411. This is all new and perhaps more details to follow. Please pray for her family now. Perhaps some of you knew her.

update on Nada

Nada Combs is being released from the hospital to go home today - the blood transfusion they gave her yesterday must have pulled her numbers back up.

Prayer Request for Kevin Harris

Kevin Harris, son of Doug and Gayle Harris (Doug is minister of Grace Baptist Church) is heading to Haiti this Saturday, February 20, for 2 weeks. Gayle asked me for prayers today and I said I know many prayer warriors to share this with. Thank you Father for sharing your son Kevin's talents with others who need so much. Kevin is a strong Christian and continues to mature in his spritual growth (as we all do)

Continued prayers please for Mark and Maria

Mark Rittenhouse has had complications concerning his surgery from feb 3rd. He is still in Northside Hospital. Please also pray for his wife maria as she is staying with him at the hospital.
As some may already know, this is very difficult for both patient and spouse.

Update on Nada Combs

Nada Combs is finally out of surgery after 7 hours. She had extensive damage to her lower GI tract from previous infections. Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to keep her in your prayers - she will be hospitalized for approximately one week.

Nada Combs, who you have prayed for on several occasions is undergoing surgery at Cartersville Hospital (right now) to repair her colostomy. She and her family would appreciate your prayers during this surgery. Her hospitalization, based on the surgery, will be limited to 2 or 3 days only this time.

Praise and Prayer request Sherry Rogers

Deska's mom, Sherry Rogers, had this findings from her recent medical biospy - it can be managed by medication.

"The biopsy shows injury to the tubulars of the kidney due to the Phospho Fleets Soda that I took for my colon test. He changed my diet once again. And in a couple of months he will tweak my meds again. He said this is manageable at this point though"

Prayer Request for Wayne Hurst

April Carson's uncle, Wayne Hurst had a heart attack yesterday and is in ICU. This is a very tough time for the family as April's grandfather and a beloved Aunt recently passed on. Please hold April and Ryan close in your prayers and let's thank God for being with Wayne and family.

Update on Kerry Suggs

Hello everyone - Kerry is recovering in her room, number 228 at Emory/Cartersville Hospital. She is doing fairly well but in some pain now. She has requested that she not have visitors for at least one day to recover and rest some - but of course, the main reason is "SHE HAS NO MAKEUP ON!" She is most appreciative of all of the prayers prior to her surgery and asks that we continue to pray for a speedy recovery. God speed Kerry! Jennifer

Please say a little prayer for Jayden! We left for the ER before 5am with this horrible croup. He was very nervous b/c he couldn't get his breath or say a full sentence "Darth Vador" breathing as we call it. Luckily, Cartersville Medical Center wasn't slammed and rushed him right on back to a room. They administered a racemic epinephrine breathing treatment and some decadron. He's sleeping and sounds better now. He's been sick since Sunday with strep throat, and woke up yesterday with a nasty cold to boot. I know the next three days will be full of breathing treatments and meds to get him on the road to recovery. Praying for a quick recovery and rest for him. (and he was supposed to go to back this past Monday ... For two hours a day. Maybe next week!) Thanks! Deska

Prayer request for Kerry

I am asking for prayer for myself!! Yes, I am doing that. My knee replacement surgery is in the morning and I am very anxious over this. I know I will do fine, but now that it is down to the wire, my nerves aren't so great. Prayers would be awesome.

Please continue to email me your prayer requests and for a few days Jennifer Wake has graciously agreed to help. I will just forward them to her and she will take it from there.
