Please pray for Jeremy Cassidy of Escambia County in Fl. He is a sheriff and has been shot and is in critical care. He is a close friend of Willis Wake's son.

Deska

Please continue to pray for Deska Brown. She is in her fourth cast for her injury sustained a couple of weeks ago. She will get this one off two days before Thanksgiving. Now there's something to be thankful for.

Her heart surgery is now scheduled as well. It will be Nov 10 at St Joseph's. Since she will have a walking cast on they can proceed with that surgery. This is a very trying time for Deska, so please remember her in your prayers and I will update as we get closer to the surgery.

Just wanted to say Thank You for all of your thoughts and Prayers! Jessica was told that she is Cancer Free and that she would not have to undergo chemo or radiation. She is still in the healing process and has to have one more test performed on Thursday. God is truly amazing! I thought everyone would like to know that Craig, the young man who had the severe leg wound will not lose his leg. The skin graft took and now he has a long road of healing and PT. Sadly, he will not be able to work as a fireman and is quite depressed and concerned for his future so this still remains a difficult time for him and his wife and kids.Walter, the man who works for Russ, is off the ventilator and out of ICU. He too will need a good amount of time before he's back to work, but thankfully he is still around to think about it.I thank all of you for your prayers and I thank the Lord for their slow but sure recovery.

A note from Kathy Williams ( George Williams wife) We have been praying for George for a while now and it is time for some new results. To remind you who this is.......this is John Williams' Dad and Zach's uncle. Please help our family in prayer.


We have an appointment with the Oncologist to go over the results from George’s recent Brain MRI and Chest CT Scans. I truly believe that if you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes so we are hoping and praying that the full radiation of his brain has worked and that the Chest scans have not changed. This would truly be a miracle! I cannot help but to research and read about this dreaded, aggressive disease and see the published statistics and it makes my heart drop past my knees. So we covet your prayers and positive thoughts.

Wendy is having surgery in the morning. We are asking for prayers for her quick recovery and that all goes well. We also ask for prayer for the medical staff that their actions are guided by God. I will update after she is out.

Prayer request from April Carson

Please pray for my friend Misty she is in the hospital and she has a 2 week old newborn. The family just called for Ryan to come in and pray over Misty (they are unchurched and don't have a pastor& they think of Ryan as their pastor. Ryan just left the Bridge to go to the hospital, please pray for Ryan to help bring some peace). Misty has a bacterial infection in a valve in her heart and also pnumonia and staff infection she just got a port put in to have antiobiotics pumped in her for the next six weeks and if that doesn't work she will have to have a valve in her heart replaced. Please keep her in your prayers. This is not how this new, first time mom thought it would be, she has ran a fever ever since the baby was born.
Thank you also for your prayers for Ben Sparks. He is doing very well!~ April ~

Deska Brown

Deska Brown fell down some steps at work yesterday and has a badly sprained ankle. (supposedly just sprained) She will follow up with an orthopedic.
She is in a lot of pain and also wants to heal before her impending heart surgery. Please pray for comfort and healing.

Jessica Marshall

Jessica Marshall came thru her surgery with no complications. She is doing well and everything sounds very encouraging at this point. The family appreciates all the prayers and would be pleased to have them continue.
Jessica will be spending the night at the hospital.

Laura and Jessica Marshall

Please continue to pray for Jennifer Wake's friend, Laura. She came thru her rotator cuff surgery fine and will need prayers for continued healing and less pain........

Please remember Jessica Marshall. Her surgery is at 11 am tomorrow. She is anxious of course and not feeling very well at the moment. I will update tomorrow when I can.

Jessica is in high spirits but is in a lot of pain. They did get it all the fourth time.

I know everyone will continue to pray...........her other surgery is still scheduled for Thursday.

Bless her heart. The surgery works in that they remove what they think is enough to get the cancer and test that and she waits 2 hours for the results. If they did not get it all, they go back in again.

They have done this procedure 3 times all ready today since 8 am and she continues to hear that they did not get it all. She is now waiting to hear about the results from this third one. She should hear again around 4 pm.

Please continue to pray.

Prayer Request for Jessica Marshall

Tim Marshall writes: The Dermatologist office called her today with more bad news. They did not get all of the melanoma. We went and saw a surgeon today. She is scheduled to have surgery on Monday for the Melanoma. She is also scheduled for surgery on Thursday for her endometrial cancer. We are just asking for prayers through these challenging time.

We all need to pray God holds Jess, Tim and family close and that a healing will ensue.

Thank you for your prayers for Ben Sparks. Ben is awake and moving his legs a little! Still too early to really tell how he is, but we're happy about him being awake from the comma! Praise God! Also, 7 kids from Marietta were saved as a result of Ben's story and the school/team praying. ~ April ~

Dear Bridge Prayer Warriors,Please pray for Ben Sparks, he is a freshman at Kennesaw Mtn. High & he is in a comma at Scottish Rite. He was playing baseball at his high school last night & was hit in the back of the head with a baseball. He immediately went into seizures and was taken by ambulance to Kennestone Hospital. They lifeflighted him to Scottish Rite & did surgery to remove the blood on his brain. My sister, Audrey was at Scottish Rite with the family today (bc my sister's roommate & best friend is Claire & this is Claire's brother Ben). My sis said they don't know if he is going to pull out of this, or if he will be paralyzed, or if he will be just fine, but we have faith that God is going to heal Ben!Please also pray for the safety of Ryan & the other Bridge leaders who are flying to Kansas tomorrow for a conference.Thank you,AprilLuke 1:37: For with God, nothing is impossible

We have know since Isabell was born that there is a high risk of hearing loss. She was at the ENT 6 weeks ago and they found fluid in her ears. And put her on medicine. It did not remove the fluid due to her having such tiny canals. So to stop her from having any more hearing loss we decided to have tube put in as soon as they could get her in and that is next week. Were OK with this we just want you to lift her in your prayers. And the doctors also. she will have to have this surgery each time she out grows the tubes. So they were up front with us. This is to prevent any damage. She is doing great other then a little extra fluid. Thanks for caring Lisa

David Hoggard's Dad

Please note this was sent last night (Monday)

We were able to visit with David's mom for about an hour this evening. She is looking good, she is out of ICU and in a regular room. She is still having problems with nausea and therefore is feeling very weak and dehydrated. She is hoping to get to go home tomorrow.

David's dad is very tired and did not sleep well last evening worrying about her. He will go home this evening an attempt to get some rest.
