Update

Please continue to pray for Mrs. Polly Wake. She was in surgery for the third time yesterday since this whole ordeal. It is hard right now to say exactly what her prognosis is going to be but Willis said she did seem to be a bit responsive late today. Jennifer and Willis are so grateful for your prayers and would so appreciate your continued prayers.

This prayer request is for Carol Barton's good friend, Doris. The request was so lovely that I am going to post it just as she wrote it.
Doris is now in Hospice care and her flight to the Lord is quickly approaching. Please pray for comfort and peace and joy to be with her and her husband in these last hours. Oh Lord lift her up in your arms and let her soar like an eagle underneath the embrace of your mighty wings. May she fear not, because she is with you. Amen

Please also pray for Glen Vincent as he has been hospitalized once again.

Please pray for Daphne Womack as she just found out she has cancer.

Polly Wake went into surgery again earlier this afternoon and is now in ICU and has come thru the surgery. Please continue to pray for her and the family.

Mrs. Wake is in ICU - with the removal of 6 inches of colon, she will be hospitalized for some time, especially for an 85-year old - they are monitoring her temp, etc. Thanks for the continued prayers.

Please continue to pray also for Lori Henderson's trip to get her grandmother settled in her long term care facility. Lori's heart aches.

Thank you for your prayers for Willis' mom - they have just decided to do surgery to find the blockage - please pray one more time for this special child of God!
They are doing surgery right now and Willis is still not well and unable to be with his Mom, so please pray for some peace and patience for what Willis is feeling at this time.

A teacher at White Elementary School, Lannette Layton, has requested we pray for her sister, who lives in Washington state. Her sister was diagnosed last year with non-Hodgkins lymphoma and shortly after discovered she was pregnant. she has opted to not receive treatment until after the baby is born (in May). she and her husband already have 4 kids and are in the process of taking custody of 2 more. please pray for healing for Lannette's sister and for peace and strength for the entire family. thank you.

update on Stacey

Please forgive me, I didn't read but the first request and should have sent this one at the same time. All so very sad.

Update.. Stacey did pass away last evening. Please remember her family and co-workers.

Prayer request

Please pray for Stacey Burt. She is a 35 yr. old that works in Juvenile Court. She collapsed Monday in the parking lot and it was determined she had a massive heart attack. She was airlifted to Emory Monday night and today they have just notified us to let us know she is brain dead. She has 2 children.

Prayer request for Lori's grandmother

Lori Henderson is in NC making final preparations for her grandmother's admittance to a long term health care facility. It is much harder on all of them they than had expected. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers and remember them especially Monday when they admit her grandmother. Lori will be home Friday but will go back again Sunday to prepare her grandmother's room. Please pray also for safety in travel.
If I am correct, I believe the grandmother's name is Azalee.

Wake prayer request and update

Polly Wake, Willis Wake's mother is being taken back to Gwinnett Medical Center tonight with some problems since returning home from extended care yesterday. Thank you for continuing to pray for the Wake family. Willis is still being treated for pneumonia and we are praying for a prompt recovery.

Please pray for Willis Wake. After returning from West VA and not feeling well, he just returned form the DR this morning and he has pneumonia. We pray he feels better soon.

Watts prayer request

Please pray the family of Heidi Watts. She was killed yesterday in a car wreck. The children had just recently lost their Dad as well. The youngest child was just in the sixth grade (Katrina). Heidi and her son Richard had attended The Bridge.

I will send more info as I receive it and those interested will possibly need to help do something for the family.

Update for Glen Vincent
Glen is in a private room, 227 at Cartersville Medical. They have cut back on the steriods and antibiotics and believe the pneumona is going away - it is possible he may return to his home on Monday. Please continue to pray for Barbara and Glen.
