Barbara Vincent has taken Glen to the hospital last night - he is in intensive care and has pneumonia as well as his kidneys are not working. Please pray for this family - the situation is grave.

Pray for Lori Henderson's grandmother

Please keep my Grandmother, Azalee, in your prayers. She has had a decline in her health and mental status in the last week. She has a care giver with her during the day and my mother is having to stay with her at night. My mom and uncle are now having to decide what step to take next. Please keep all of us in your prayers. I will be traveling to NC later in the week to lend a little moral and "social work" support to my Mom. Darrell will probably need a few prayers as well....I am leaving the kids here so we can focus soley on Grandma.

Hi this is Lisa Harrison, I am asking for prayers for myself and all the US Census workers. We have been notified that at 12 midnight Tue. We will go to all Tent Cities and under bridges were home less people live. To take the 2010 US Census. We are only allowed to work on this one day of this year. From midnight to seven A.M. I feel so blessed to have this job but it will take me in many places were life is so much harder then we know. update on Doris

Carol has asked for continued prayer for her friend.

Doris is not doing well. She is in the hospital in significant pain that has spread to the lower back and pelvic area. She also has a fever with weakness, loss of appetite and weight as well as anemia. They are doing some tests to see if she is fighting an infection or if it's the cancer that has spread. Please ask for prayers as they face what is to come from all of this. May God's grace overflow to them.

Eric's sermons during lent were intense and thought provoking. The economy has now forced our family to put them to the test. As of 3:00pm Tuesday Jay was laid off from his job. He is keeping a positive outlook, when God closes a door he opens a window. Jay has accepted the challenge and plans to conquer it. I, on the other hand, am an emotional wreck! But I hear God's voice telling me everything will be ok.

Hey All: We had a father/daughter check in to the hotel last night and apparently her father became ill and is in ICU at Cartersville. They are traveling from Michigan. What I could get from her is that he's not doing well. Her husband is coming down from Michigan. Anyway, I wanted to put them on the prayer list. His name is James Hope and her name is Shirley Witz (she's my age). I don't know if any of you will be around the hospital area, but might warrant a visit from our "sisters and brothers". She was pretty upset and feeling lost. I am holding a room for her and her family for however long they need it. Have a Blessed Day, Kim

Norton prayer request

Stephanie Shook has asked prayer for Michelle Norton. She called Stephanie and told her that they discovered a lump in her breast last Friday and it was biopsied on Tuesday. She will get the results on Friday. The doctor has already ruled out a cyst and has stated that it is definitely a tumor. She is in her 30's and a mother of 2.

Kurt Howard's mother passed away. Visitation will be at 7pm at Parnick Jennings tomorrow - no details yet on the funeral. Will advise when I hear something. Please pray for the entire Howard family

update on Nancy's brother

Please forward my thanks to all who are praying for my brother Dave....AMEN..the Lord is wonderful...spoke with my brother tonight and all the medications have worked so great that he did not need any stints placed and has had only minimal damage to the heart..he will stay overnight to monitor and should go home tomorrow. The joke is he will just be another person on Plavix and cholesterol meds in America!!!!!!! Thanks again for everyone's love and support!!!!!!!!!Blessings...Nancy

David Hallock, Nancy Demott's brother had a heart attack last night and is undergoing surgery today. Nancy has spoken with him and he is in good spirits. Please keep this family in your prayers.

Also continue to pray for Carol Barton's friend, Doris. She still has a lot of back pain in spite of the surgery. She also has 2 fractured ribs and she fell in their garage and has massive bruising. Remember we have been praying for her a long time due to bone cancer. She does remain upbeat and has even mentioned writing a book about it all one day. Carol prays God will let her hang in there long enough to do it!!

Savannah Rose update

She is doing fine, but has an irregular heart beat and blood pressure is up. But she is playing and just being her sweet self. Right now it's a wait and see type of situation. Please keep praying.

Prayer request for the Timmins

Please pray for the Timmins Family. They all have the flu! Jared came down with it Monday and went to the doctor because the kids and Krista started having symptoms very early this morning. His doctor is pretty sure it's H1N1. Luckily the kids and Krista caught it in time but are still probably going to have a bad day or two. But Jared has a rough hill to climb and is quarantined until Tuesday.
