Update on Lori

Gosh that was quick!! Terry Terrell was with the Hendersons and he just let us know Lori is out! Dr. Daniels said everything is fine and no complications. Moving to room 225 in a little while. Darryl is doing fine too!

Eric will be traveling to Mississippi for a mission trip with his pastor friends. Please pray that his group will have safe travel and that they will have a great experience. Also, we want to keep Jessica and the kids in out thoughts and prayers especially during this time.

update on Sherry Rogers

Sherry Rogers came through ok with the biopsy on her kidneys on Monday and is recuperating at home. She will be restricted with her activity for two weeks and should have the results back in a week to 10 days. Please pray that God will ease her pain and give her peace of mind that He is in control.

My friend Doris, who has bone cancer, is having surgery today for a compressed vertebrae in her back. She has been in a great deal of pain with this and it is hoped that the stabilization of the vertebrae with cement will give her some relief. Please, please pray for this dear friend of mine. She is quite distressed about having holes drilled in her spine and really needs some relief from the pain. Thank you, Carol

In the midst of his tragedy, he made this comment: " The Lord gave me everything I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord! In all of this Job did not sin by blaming God." He knew God was in control. In the midst of all the tragedy I see and hear about in Haiti , I believe He is in control as well. “

Prayer update on Jessica Lee's sister

From Jessica, I would like to ask prayer for my sister Naomi Gushhart who was just diagnosed with Lupus today. She currently has Pleurisy, a little fluid around her heart and all her joints are very inflamed due to it. So please pray specifically that the medication and treatment they are giving her will help get this current flare under control.

Keshia Hall's ( Lori Henderson's neighbor and friend) father in law, Michael, passed away unexpectedly last night. Keshia's husband's name is Shannon. Michael's wife is Nancy. The entire family is devastated as you can imagine. They are preparing to tell the kids this morning. The kids were VERY close to Michael! I would like for everyone to lift the entire Hall family up in your prayers.

This request came from a very close friend of mine:

Please put little Rose on your prayer list and your church prayer list. She is in the process of being adopted from an orphanage in Port-Au-Prince by a wonderful family we know. She is physically okay at this time; but she is in the middle of the earthquake devastation. Rose is 5 years old. We have been asked by the adoptive parents to pray that her Emergency Visa will be granted very soon so that she can get out of Haiti.

A little history on this amazing family ~ they have two children in college, one 10+ adorable adopted daughter, and in addition to little Rose, they are in the process of adopting another child from Haiti; his name is Charles. He is 8+. Charles' adoption has been and is being held up with a mountain of paperwork, but they believe Rose could come out soon if her Emer. Visa can be granted.

Please be in prayer for Naomi Gusthart, sister of Jessica Lee. Naomi has been having health issues that have been unresolved. Recent tests have shown that she may in fact have Lupus. Please pray for her as she begins to go to the different doctors and specialists to determine if it is indeed Lupus. Please pray that the doctors will know exactly what is going on and how to best treat it. Also to give her peace whatever they do find.

Also please pray again for Dee who has pancreatic cancer and has been going thru treatments and wishes to stop due to being so sick and listless. Her family is devasted.

Prayer request for Deska

My husband and I lost out jobs last year right before Christmas. It was devastating to say the least. It has been a huge adjustment, but with God, we've managed to make it through. The job I took in March has been .. well ... challenging. I won't go into details, but God knows! I have an interview tomorrow for a company that I can work from home with, however, I only want what God has in store for me. I think last year I was just praying for a job ... and God answers prayers! But sometimes, we have to be specific, and pray spe cifically! So, that being said ... I pray that I get the job that is RIGHT for me, with my children and their needs. That will be rewarding and fulfilling, yet not quite as stressful. I only want God's will for mine (and my family's lives) and this is going to be a hard decision to make.

Aaron's update

Thank you for your prayers. Aaron's surgery to put in tubes was successful and he should be released to go home this morning.

Lee's prayer request

Please pray for our baby son, Aaron, who will have surgery Thursday a.m. to have tubes in his ears. We have been through this with our oldest, Abby, so we know something of what to expect.We are asking God to keep Aaron safe during the procedure and to give success and healing. Thank you for praying with us.

Isabell, Aaron, Reace

Our little Bridge baby is coming home tonight. I am sure the family is a bit anxious but so thankful for prayers answered and so relieved to have Isabell at home. Let's pray for a good night and an even better day tomorrow.

Eric and Jessica Lee's baby, Aaron, has had multiple ear infections and has one now. They will now be going to an ENT . Please pray he feels better soon and they can find some way to help prevent further infections.

Houston and Kerry's grand baby, Reace, has strep throat.

These were all our little babies born about the same time and they are all sick. We pray they are all much better very soon.

Prayers being answered for Isabell

Thank you each and every one of you for all your prayers. Isabell was taken off the IV and O2 today. They had to put her back on O2 while she slept. But we are able to have her unhooked while she is awake. The doctors say as soon as she make it through one hole night without extra O2 they will let her come home. It may be as soon as Tue or Wed. we hope. But what ever the doctors decide is fine with us. Bruce was well enough to come to the hospital today. And Isabell was smiling from ear to ear to see her Papa. She had not smiled in 4 days so that was as great as seeing them remove all the tubes and hoses. Danielle was so Blessed to get the Prayer Bear from the Bridge Kids and the picture they had done for Isabell. We have been blessed an many ways we have had food delivered and visitor to sit with us and many well wishes. It is hard for me to be on the receiving end of this but it is really appreciated by the Harrison Family. Even my parents want me to thank you for being so kind in our hours of need. She is undergoing kidney problems and may have to seek dialysis as well as a biopsy. Please pray for this very kind person. Her whole family seems to have been touched with problems this past year

update on Isabell

First of all she is doing a little better this evening. They were able to drop off some of the fluids & lower the O2 level. They have not even said anything about how long she might be there. But we know that she is in the best of hands. The Lord has Blessed us with doctors to help heal and between the doctors and all of your prayers she is in the best place for a very sick little girl. She was treated on Mon and returned on Wed to find out that she had gotten RSV. They rechecked her Thur and said she is doing OK but to bring her in to the ER if she had any problems. And this morning she started laboring to breath about 8:45 and at 9:00 we was in the waiting room. Things can change so fast I am thank full it happened when it did and not during the middle of the night. By the time she was seen her stats drop to 73 % ow she is back up to 96% The doctors say she has penomia but she is taking her bottle better so they are able to cut back on the fluids. Thank You Thank You Thank You that is all I can say we have been so Blessed by all of you. Please keep our Angel in your prayers.
