Please add Mike Price to our prayer list. He passed out yesterday (due to a blockage in his heart) while driving. Wrecked his truck and is now at Kennestone Hospital preparing for surgery to have a stint put in. Mike is a life-long friend of mine and we are very close.

Mom is in catastrophic care and the name is Complex Care. The only thing that is even being done is they are trying to get her breathing better. She has improved so much since we are all here. She is working on getting around but she is not allowed to put any weight on her bad leg for an unknown period of time. They are not dealing with the cancer at all. Lisa Harrison just let me know that her Mom's breast cancer has spread to her bones. The hip they replaced has cancer and also a fractured spine also shows cancer. She also has a blood clot in her lung. Please pray for comfort and peace. Lisa is with her parents and I am sure that is a blessing in itself.

Cade Walker

This was from a friend of mine. I do not know of this family personally, but I do know this is a prayer request that I have been asked to pass along.

There's a 16 year old boy named Cade Walker on that has just found out he has a tumor on his brain. They literally just found out like 4 days ago. They did some kind of test on him yesterday and have found that it's really bad. So bad that they are going to have to do some really aggressive chemo to try to shrink it. Could you please have your church pray for him??

Please pray for Wendy Simone's Dad, Ray Williams. He was admitted to Cartertsville Medical yesterday with some type of urinary infection. They are still waiting on the urologist as of last night. Wendy was still here to help with her Mom.

Please pray for Lisa Harrison's mom, Sharon. She fell and broke her hip and had surgery. They decided to replace the hip. Please pray for her continued healing and minimal pain.

Tristan's update

I never really updated Tristan's progress.

Tristan went today to have his stitches removed and a new cast put on. He goes back on Jan 11 to have an x-ray and decide if he needs a cast longer than that. His surgery went very well and we had a few minor complications with nausea and swelling for a few days but after that things went well. Thank you for all the prayers and concern.

Stephanie Shook has a prayer request

Please remember Ma"ria" York. She was in Maryland on Friday visiting her family and was involved in a car accident. She suffered 5 broken ribs and a punctured lung. Due to the horrible weather, her family has not been able to fly up to see her. She was released out of ICU this morning, but is expected to be in the hospital for a while. Please pray for her healing and improved weather.

We have prayed many times over the past for Arnold Baker. He has had throat cancer and was in remission and it came back with a vengeance. He recently had his voice box removed and complications after complications have continued to follow him. He is now hospitalized with a blood infection. Please remember Arnold and his family.

Tristan Crosley

Tristan Crosley has had a rough time the last few months. He fell off a skateboard and broke his right arm. Things went very well until a week before the cast was due to come off and he tripped over the couch and re-broke the same arm.
He had an x-ray today to check the bone alignments. They were not good. He has to have surgery Friday Dec. 3 at 8:00 am in order to place a rod in one of the bones. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and keep his surgeon, Dr. Crawley, in your prayers too. He was kind enough to delay the surgery so that Tristan could participate in the parade on Thursday before his surgery.
Our family is trying to stay in high spirits about all this, but it seems that every time there is a light at the end of the tunnel, the tunnel gets longer. I know there are lessons for Tristan in all this. At the same time, I am trying to be humble enough to see the lesson God has for me as well.

A friend of Deska Brown's.....her friend's dad, Malcolm, is in the hospital (rushed via ambulance) after only being home 10 days from his 5wk stay due to complications and blood clots after his knee replacement surgery. I'm not sure what's wrong this time, but I know he's 77 and his family is really concerned about him. I told them I'd put him on the prayer chain! So ~ please pray! Hospitals aren't fun, especially not during the holidays!


Please also pray for Arnold Baker. We have prayed for him many times over the past two years. His throat cancer came back and he had more surgeries and is not doing well after the last surgery which was several months ago. Just seems to continue to go down.

Norm Ellsworth is still in intensive care after his bypass surgery a week ago. Please continue to pray.

Isabell is still a very sick little girl. Her fever continued to spike through the night and they are leaving the Dr's office now to head to Scottish Rite. She is down to 15 lbs and is just so sick.

She cannot be admitted directly and will have to go thru ER. The process could take a while.

She had a bad day today. She dropped almost one more pound in 24 hours. We can not get her temp under control. The doctors decided she could come home again today, but if at anytime things get worse we are to take her to Scottish Rite Hospital. Please when you say your prayers this evening, please remember Deska as she goes to sleep or tries to go to sleep. Last night was awful in that she was having anxiety attacks and was feeling claustrophobic and couldn't breathe. Please pray she has a better night.

Don Wilson did well in his melanoma surgery yesterday. Now they wait on the tests for the lymph tissue.

I know Isabell did come home yesterday from the hospital, but I have not heard how she is today.

This is Lisa Harrison and I am asking for your prayers to include our granddaughter Isabell Rose. She has had the croup for 3 weeks now and we thought she was starting to improve. She had lost one pound so she weighs less at 15 months the she did on her first birthday. She is only 16 pounds. She did not seem right on Tue so I cancelled her appointment for her shots and made a recheck appointment for this morning at 9. My Daughter Danielle woke at 2 A.M. and we rushed her to the ER her temp was 105 and white blood count was high also. Her chest ex-ray shows phenomena. Please continue to pray for Deska Brown. She is in her fourth cast for her injury sustained a couple of weeks ago. She will get this one off two days before Thanksgiving. Now there's something to be thankful for.

Her heart surgery is now scheduled as well. It will be Nov 10 at St Joseph's. Since she will have a walking cast on they can proceed with that surgery. This is a very trying time for Deska, so please remember her in your prayers and I will update as we get closer to the surgery.

I thought everyone would like to know that Craig, the young man who had the severe leg wound will not lose his leg. The skin graft took and now he has a long road of healing and PT. Sadly, he will not be able to work as a fireman and is quite depressed and concerned for his future so this still remains a difficult time for him and his wife and kids.Walter, the man who works for Russ, is off the ventilator and out of ICU. He too will need a good amount of time before he's back to work, but thankfully he is still around to think about it.I thank all of you for your prayers and I thank the Lord for their slow but sure recovery.

We have an appointment with the Oncologist to go over the results from George’s recent Brain MRI and Chest CT Scans. I truly believe that if you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes so we are hoping and praying that the full radiation of his brain has worked and that the Chest scans have not changed. This would truly be a miracle! I cannot help but to research and read about this dreaded, aggressive disease and see the published statistics and it makes my heart drop past my knees. Please pray for my friend Misty she is in the hospital and she has a 2 week old newborn. The family just called for Ryan to come in and pray over Misty (they are unchurched and don't have a pastor& they think of Ryan as their pastor. Misty has a bacterial infection in a valve in her heart and also pnumonia and staff infection she just got a port put in to have antiobiotics pumped in her for the next six weeks and if that doesn't work she will have to have a valve in her heart replaced. Bless her heart. The surgery works in that they remove what they think is enough to get the cancer and test that and she waits 2 hours for the results. If they did not get it all, they go back in again.

They have done this procedure 3 times all ready today since 8 am and she continues to hear that they did not get it all. She is now waiting to hear about the results from this third one. She should hear again around 4 pm.

Prayer Request for Jessica Marshall

Tim Marshall writes: The Dermatologist office called her today with more bad news. They did not get all of the melanoma. We went and saw a surgeon today. She is scheduled to have surgery on Monday for the Melanoma. She is also scheduled for surgery on Thursday for her endometrial cancer. We are just asking for prayers through these challenging time.

We all need to pray God holds Jess, Tim and family close and that a healing will ensue.

Dear Bridge Prayer Warriors,Please pray for Ben Sparks, he is a freshman at Kennesaw Mtn. High & he is in a comma at Scottish Rite. He was playing baseball at his high school last night & was hit in the back of the head with a baseball. He immediately went into seizures and was taken by ambulance to Kennestone Hospital. They lifeflighted him to Scottish Rite & did surgery to remove the blood on his brain. My sister, Audrey was at Scottish Rite with the family today (bc my sister's roommate & best friend is Claire & this is Claire's brother Ben). We have know since Isabell was born that there is a high risk of hearing loss. She was at the ENT 6 weeks ago and they found fluid in her ears. And put her on medicine. It did not remove the fluid due to her having such tiny canals. So to stop her from having any more hearing loss we decided to have tube put in as soon as they could get her in and that is next week. Were OK with this we just want you to lift her in your prayers. And the doctors also. she will have to have this surgery each time she out grows the tubes. So they were up front with us. This is to prevent any damage. She is doing great other then a little extra fluid. Thanks for caring Lisa

David Hoggard's Dad

We were able to visit with David's mom for about an hour this evening. She is looking good, she is out of ICU and in a regular room. She is still having problems with nausea and therefore is feeling very weak and dehydrated. She is hoping to get to go home tomorrow.

David's dad is very tired and did not sleep well last evening worrying about her. He will go home this evening an attempt to get some rest.

I asked for prayer for a family friend battling cancer, Garrett Thornton. Please see my mother's report below and continue to pray for comfort for him and his family. Thank you.


The news is not good. They did the surgery yesterday and they went in and it had spread so they just sewed him back up. She said the portion of the small intestine that they took out to make the bladder was cancerous and it had spread to his abdomen also. She said after 2 hours of surgery they called them back and she knew then that it wasn't good since the surgery was suppose to take 6 hours. She said they are going to do chemo but not sure when or if it will be of any benefit. An oncology board of about 12 doctors is going to meet on Monday and look at his case and see what they think the treatment should be. Garrett asked the oncologist last night if he had a year and the doctor said probably not. Marilyn said she just "lost it" when the doctor told them that after surgery.

Just have to keep praying for strength for them.

Jennifer Wake's dear friend, Laura Childers, was scheduled for rotator cuff surgery and during preliminary surgical testing, her EKG is abnormal and further tests are required. Please pray that those test show nothing serious and the surgery will be back on track.

Please keep Phoenix is your prayers. He's having a reaction to the new infusion. He feels pretty bad. I reallyhope this gets better over the next few infusions, since doing SubQ will make it so much easier on us as a family. Please be in prayer for the entire situation. He has a fever; migraine, and stomach ache and all of the Infusion sites are red and tender. He's been having migraines a lot lately and we have to go see a neurologist soon to have them checked out. Please pray for the love of my life, Bruce. He has battled with depression for most of his life. He has progressed to stage 4 Depression. I know everyone has suffered in the last few years with our economy downfall, but he was a proud man with great credit and nice home and always provided for his family. Now neither of us have worked a day in four and half months. Last week I received a few e-mails from our family at The Bridge. Each of them told us that they were praying for us. The next day Bruce received his first signing for a job in months. I felt so blessed and he is so over whelmed. He is out of shape and let him self shut down for so long that he has no idea how to function. Please lift him up in your prayers. This has taken a toll on our whole family. I went with my grandparents this morning to the cardiologist for him to give my grandmother clearance for surgery Monday. He has postponed her hip replacement surgery because she has been having some chest tightness this week, and he does not feel comfortable her having the surgery. Instead, we are scheduled to have a heart cath at Redmond Monday to make sure her heart is 100% before letting her have the hip replacement. Thank you for all your prayers. Please pray now that the cath gives us answers to what is going on with her heart.

She is trying to bring Craig food everyday so he can hopefully eat. The drugs he's taking are creating severe nausea and the hospital food is nasty. Needless to say she is exhausted. I have a good friend, Bob Coxe, bass player in our church praise team, whose wife, Patty Coxe, is gravely ill.
She began throwing up last Saturday (8/14) and is now in ICU at N. Fulton hospital, intubated and heavily medicated. Her kidneys, liver and lungs are under attack by something. At this time only God knows what it is. The ventilator is running at 95%, meaning she cannot breathe on her own.
Please pray for Patty's healing, Bob's peace of mind that only God can provide (Bob lost his father to cancer in January and his mother to cancer last month), and for the doctors to be led to the cause and cure of Patty's illness.
Feel free to pass this along to any others that believe in the power of prayer to our Lord.

Please remember Callie O'banion, an 18 month old little girl. She has abnormal progesterone levels and advanced bone growth which are both signs of pre-puberty. She is being sent to Emory for blood work and scans to rule out a brain tumor and ovarian cysts as causes for the things happening. If it does turn out to be pre-puberty this is a rare disorder that will affect her tremendously with many side effects.

Sherry Rogers has just asked for prayer for her daughter Deska Brown. Please read:

To all my praying family and friends,My daughter, Deska went to her PCP a couple of weeks ago for regular blood work. They had to try three times to get her BP and her pulse was very slow. This has been getting more prevalent over the last 6-12 months. They Dr. attributed it to the fact that she had started working with a trainer and had lost weight. Then during the checkup he heard a murmur that concerned him and he referred her to a cardiologist She has been very, very tired ever since the Dr./ removed her thyroid 5 years ago, due to a condition that causes cancer. The cardiologist order a sonogram/ultrasound. She went back for the results today. The cardio told her she had Rhuematic fever at some point and it has damaged every valve in her heart. All have significant leakage, which causes all her symptoms. Her mitral is the worse, then the aortic, then two more I cannot pronounce. When she told me about this today, I thought she had said Scarlett fever, but it was Rheumatic. According to the Dr. Rheumatic is the only thing that can cause this kind of damage. When she was little she got sick and I took her to the Dr. She was sick for a long time. She had a fever, rash. The cardio now says she was misdiagnosed and over time it has gotten worse until it is now a problem. A week from tomorrow she will be sedated at Kennestone hospital and they will do an esophageal ultrsound to determine if this has to be fixed now or if she will be able to wait a little while until a less invasive procedure is perfected. I have an urgent prayer request for my friend's little girl, Hannah Adcock. She got sick on Wednesday (a little history - she's always had bad allergies and breathing problems. Gets pneumonia a lot) so when she went Wed and they told her it was a virus and that she was wheezing, it was no big deal. Sometime Sat night she got worse. They took her to Cartersville ER, where they were able to stabilize her, and then sent her via ambulance to Scottish Rite. By the time she arrived there she was unresponsive. They are intubating her now and putting in a central line. ( this was Sunday) She has pneumonia and some type of bacterial infection. Please send up prayers for this family! And this little girl. She's 9. And a precious little girl who is full of life and joy! Please pray that God's hand will put his healing touch on her and bring her through this!!! Thanks,Deska

I am sad to report that my youngest brother, Charles Wolff, has stage IV pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver. While he will be having some chemo, his prognosis is….not good.
This was confirmed only by biopsies. His bloodwork and PET scans in the past few weeks had shown no cancer. Insidious. It all started with a vague lower back ache in early June.

Thanks to all of you who have been praying for my nephew. He was able to call my mom today and give us all the details. He was hit by shrapnel from a rocket. It blew out his left ear drum and there is a lot of shrapnel in his neck. He has been discharged from the base hospital and will probably have to go to Germany to have the shrapnel removed. He has received a purple heart and will most likely have a full medical discharge. Please continue to pray for his healing, no infections, steady hands for the surgeons, and a quick return trip home. He was really touched to know so many people from all over the country are praying for him and he said it has made a huge difference for him. Fortunately no other US soldiers were injured during this skirmish. God's protective hand was certainly upon Tony that day.

I have a prayer request for a very special friend of mine. Her name is Abbey, her son is Ollie, and her husband is Paul. They have run into serious money troubles and are facing getting evicted and/or getting their power turned off. Abbey lost both of her parents when she was 19, so she has no one to help. Ollie is just a few months old, and she is going back to work next week. She is so concerned about not being with him, and if they will have a place to live for much longer. They got some financial help from a local church where they recently decided to attend(praise GOD for that as they were both lost), but it will be touch and go for a while until they get their feet back on the ground. Please pray for this young couple and for Abbey to have peace about someone else taking care of her son.

The doctor has ordered a MRI. She is afraid Lisa may have a ripped a menicus or ACL. Lisa also found out yesterday that her Mom has a crushed disk in her lower back and her older sister just came home from having booth knees replaced. Please keep Lisa and her family in your prayers. Our little Molly is a very sick baby girl. She is fighting a bad cold with a fever of 103.5 and was vomiting last night as well. God took Willis' precious mom home just after 11:00 pm last night - what a special angel he did receive - she gave so many laughs and kindness - and she is such an angel of strength - her progress now will be eternal and she will no longer be bound by physical afflictions, pills and worry. Please pray for Stacey Burt. She is a 35 yr. old that works in Juvenile Court. She collapsed Monday in the parking lot and it was determined she had a massive heart attack. She was airlifted to Emory Monday night and today they have just notified us to let us know she is brain dead. She has 2 children.

Carol has asked for continued prayer for her friend.

Doris is not doing well. She is in the hospital in significant pain that has spread to the lower back and pelvic area. She also has a fever with weakness, loss of appetite and weight as well as anemia. They are doing some tests to see if she is fighting an infection or if it's the cancer that has spread. Please ask for prayers as they face what is to come from all of this. May God's grace overflow to them.

Stephanie Shook has asked prayer for Michelle Norton. She called Stephanie and told her that they discovered a lump in her breast last Friday and it was biopsied on Tuesday. Please say a little prayer for Jayden! We left for the ER before 5am with this horrible croup. He was very nervous b/c he couldn't get his breath or say a full sentence "Darth Vador" breathing as we call it. Luckily, Cartersville Medical Center wasn't slammed and rushed him right on back to a room. They administered a racemic epinephrine breathing treatment and some decadron. He's sleeping and sounds better now. He's been sick since Sunday with strep throat, and woke up yesterday with a nasty cold to boot. I know the next three days will be full of breathing treatments and meds to get him on the road to recovery. Praying for a quick recovery and rest for him. (and he was supposed to go to back this past Monday ... For two hours a day. Maybe next week!) Thanks! Deska

From Jessica, I would like to ask prayer for my sister Naomi Gushhart who was just diagnosed with Lupus today. She currently has Pleurisy, a little fluid around her heart and all her joints are very inflamed due to it. Please put little Rose on your prayer list and your church prayer list. She is in the process of being adopted from an orphanage in Port-Au-Prince by a wonderful family we know. She is physically okay at this time; but she is in the middle of the earthquake devastation. Rose is 5 years old. We have been asked by the adoptive parents to pray that her Emergency Visa will be granted very soon so that she can get out of Haiti.

A little history on this amazing family ~ they have two children in college, one 10+ adorable adopted daughter, and in addition to little Rose, they are in the process of adopting another child from Haiti; his name is Charles. He is 8+. Charles' adoption has been and is being held up with a mountain of paperwork, but they believe Rose could come out soon if her Emer. Visa can be granted.

Prayer requests

Please be in prayer for Naomi Gusthart, sister of Jessica Lee. Naomi has been having health issues that have been unresolved. Recent tests have shown that she may in fact have Lupus. Please pray for her as she begins to go to the different doctors and specialists to determine if it is indeed Lupus. Please pray that the doctors will know exactly what is going on and how to best treat it. Also to give her peace whatever they do find.

Also please pray again for Dee who has pancreatic cancer and has been going thru treatments and wishes to stop due to being so sick and listless. Her family is devasted.

Prayer request for Deska

My husband and I lost out jobs last year right before Christmas. It was devastating to say the least. It has been a huge adjustment, but with God, we've managed to make it through. The job I took in March has been .. well ... challenging. I won't go into details, but God knows! I have an interview tomorrow for a company that I can work from home with, however, I only want what God has in store for me. I think last year I was just praying for a job ... and God answers prayers! But sometimes, we have to be specific, and pray spe cifically! So, that being said ... I pray that I get the job that is RIGHT for me, with my children and their needs. That will be rewarding and fulfilling, yet not quite as stressful. I only want God's will for mine (and my family's lives) and this is going to be a hard decision to make.

Aaron's update

Thank you for your prayers. Aaron's surgery to put in tubes was successful and he should be released to go home this morning.

Lee's prayer request

Please pray for our baby son, Aaron, who will have surgery Thursday a.m. to have tubes in his ears. We have been through this with our oldest, Abby, so we know something of what to expect.We are asking God to keep Aaron safe during the procedure and to give success and healing. Thank you for praying with us.

Isabell, Aaron, Reace

Our little Bridge baby is coming home tonight. I am sure the family is a bit anxious but so thankful for prayers answered and so relieved to have Isabell at home. Let's pray for a good night and an even better day tomorrow.

Eric and Jessica Lee's baby, Aaron, has had multiple ear infections and has one now. They will now be going to an ENT . Please pray he feels better soon and they can find some way to help prevent further infections.

Houston and Kerry's grand baby, Reace, has strep throat.

These were all our little babies born about the same time and they are all sick. We pray they are all much better very soon.

Prayers being answered for Isabell

Thank you each and every one of you for all your prayers. Isabell was taken off the IV and O2 today. They had to put her back on O2 while she slept. But we are able to have her unhooked while she is awake. The doctors say as soon as she make it through one hole night without extra O2 they will let her come home. It may be as soon as Tue or Wed. we hope. But what ever the doctors decide is fine with us. Bruce was well enough to come to the hospital today. And Isabell was smiling from ear to ear to see her Papa. She had not smiled in 4 days so that was as great as seeing them remove all the tubes and hoses. Danielle was so Blessed to get the Prayer Bear from the Bridge Kids and the picture they had done for Isabell. We have been blessed an many ways we have had food delivered and visitor to sit with us and many well wishes. It is hard for me to be on the receiving end of this but it is really appreciated by the Harrison Family. Even my parents want me to thank you for being so kind in our hours of need. She is undergoing kidney problems and may have to seek dialysis as well as a biopsy. Please pray for this very kind person. Her whole family seems to have been touched with problems this past year

update on Isabell

First of all she is doing a little better this evening. They were able to drop off some of the fluids & lower the O2 level. They have not even said anything about how long she might be there. But we know that she is in the best of hands. The Lord has Blessed us with doctors to help heal and between the doctors and all of your prayers she is in the best place for a very sick little girl. She was treated on Mon and returned on Wed to find out that she had gotten RSV. They rechecked her Thur and said she is doing OK but to bring her in to the ER if she had any problems. And this morning she started laboring to breath about 8:45 and at 9:00 we was in the waiting room. Things can change so fast I am thank full it happened when it did and not during the middle of the night. By the time she was seen her stats drop to 73 % ow she is back up to 96% The doctors say she has penomia but she is taking her bottle better so they are able to cut back on the fluids. Thank You Thank You Thank You that is all I can say we have been so Blessed by all of you. Please keep our Angel in your prayers.
