I just returned from the funeral service for Mary Ann Chvala. Krista Timmins and I attended the Walk to Emmaus with her just a few weeks ago. Mary Ann was 55 years old and had stage 4 lung cancer at the time of her Walk. She was a great inspiration to all of us. It was such a blessing today to hear how her "Life Song" stretched way beyond Emmaus. Mary Ann is survived by her mother, her husband and three sons. Please include this precious family in our prayer requests.

Heather Farmer's friend, Tabatha is 5 months pregnant and may lose the baby due to a malformed heart. She will find out more on the 14th. All prayer hands needed.

Please pray for safety in travel for the Wakes this weekend and anyone else hitting the fall trails.

Also please pray for all the little "Trick or Treaters".......may they have a wonderful time and be protected from any danger.

Tomorrow is Houston's last official day at work. He will be retired as of tomorrow afternoon. He seems fine, but if you know Houston, he always seems fine. I am the one with having great emotional sadness,excitement, and unknown feelings! However you feel led, please pray.

We been praying for Jessica Marshall's Dr friend, Dr Baramounds baby.

This is good news from Jessica:
She is almost seven pounds now and she is doing so good that he might be able to bring her home next wk. He said to tell everybody thank you for praying and he stated that he guessed I was right that prayer does work. He has never been to Church. So I thank everyone for praying for them. The joy and big smile on his face when he shared this with me, was the happiest that I have ever seen him. thanks again.

Please pray for Genevieve Hobgood.
She fell outside the day before yesterday and broke her knee, rotator cuff and has bleeding on the brain. Tomorrow she will have a dye test to find out where the bleeding is and is scheduled for knee surgery which includes pins being placed. Just wanted you to pray for her and her family. They live in Acworth, GA



Kim Terrell's sister, Jamey Seldin, will be having a biopsy done this Friday as a result of a mammogram that showed something her doctor said needed a closer look.



Jennifer Wake's friend, Nada, who we have been praying for had surgery and they performed a colostomy - She is fighting an infection and her kidneys are not reacting well. Please pray for her and her family.





Eric Tankersley - Eric just turned 40 years old, a very giving person from a lovely Adairsville family. His cancer is now in his blood stream - all are praying for a miracle.





Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. These families truly believe as we do in the power of prayer as we do.

Natalie Henderson has been feeling a bit "under the weather". She has had some additional blood tests just to make sure nothing is really going on........possible mono........Just pray she feels better and pray for her mom, Lori, as well. She is a bit cooped up and looking forward to a trip out of town. Pray for their travel safety.

Houston and Kerry's brother-in-law has been on our prayer requests with lung cancer. He now has pneumonia. He is very sick and Houston's sister is having a difficult time trying to care for him.

Jacob is home, but insurance will not pay for him to get rehab as an inpatient and they are concerned he will run away again. I was glad he wasn't kidnapped, but saddened that he is in such turmoil that he would run away. They are asking for continued prayer for him and the family. This doesn't sound like there will be an easy solution for them.Thank you for your prayers. Carol

Jan Williams - going home today - her problem was caused by Ambien - neurologist said many people have reactions to this sleeping medication such as hallucinations, feeling of falling and actually falling down (which was the case with Jan) - she does also have vertigo but there is therapy for this. Jan is grateful for your prayers.

Nada - still in Cartersville hospital - although maybe slightly better, will be there a few more days until she is healed completely and then will be discharged and have to return for more surgery. Thank you for your prayers

Don Wilson - Don seems somewhat better.

This is a friend of Jennifer Wake's
Jan Williams has been suffering vertigo for a couple of months and while it temporarily went away, she has fallen again and now she is at Kennestone receiving MRI and other tests. She was pleased to be added to our church prayer list. I will follow up when more info is available.


Don Wilson..... as long as he isn't standing, he tolerates the pain.



Please add Krista Timmins' Aunt Pam to the prayer list. She just found out that she has an aggressive form of breast cancer, and they are afraid it will spread if they cut her open to remove it right now, so she has to go through chemo before they can consider removing her breasts.

Please pray for Lisa Harrison. She has so many issues going on with her life including health issues.
She is so dear and God knows all she is struggling with, but we can also help by asking God to touch her and give her some extra peace and strength.

Please Jennifer Wake's friend Nada - many issues with her bile duct related to diverticulitis - had laproscopic surgery yesterday and they will wait and see how this does.


Another person, Mandy, will have gall bladder removal next week.

A friend of the Bartons has asked for prayer for her teenage nephew Jakob. He has been missing since last Sat. and they are obviously deeply distressed. Please pray for his safe return.

Jessica Martin is a single mom who has been laid off and in danger of losing her home.She is Bobby & Gayle Crocker's granddaughter. Gayle asked us to pray that God would use this experience in Jessica's life to bring good for her and her son.

Julia Sweeney was moved to rehab today. She's in Golden Living in Marietta (right behind Kennestone) room 207. she was quite tired when she got there(around 6:30), but she is in good spirits and is excited to start some serious rehab! Thanks for all the prayers as I know they helped her through this very difficult time!!

Please also pray for the Hereth Family. It is hard on everyone!!

Chelsea Conant has the flu and has been running a high fever for the last couple of nights. She is miserable and we need to pray for her.

Julia took a turn for the worse yesterday afternoon. She is in a lot of pain. She won't be coming home, but instead she is going to a rehab facility. Please pray that her pain lessens and her attitude improves! She is also depressed and feeling bad about herself.
Let's really lift her up today in special prayer.
